Why Do Some Guys Spend Lavishly On Women But Fail To Take Care Of Their Parents?

I was merry-go-rounding on the Internet this afternoon, then I came across this thread, and I’m pretty sure it will sprout up alot of conversation on Rayzland blog.
So guys, you are all invited to participate in this conversation.  In all ramifications, this negative trend is quite disheartening, alarming. After God, your family ought to be a priority.
Let me quickly share a true life story:-
Jackson took his fiancee to the village for the purpose of introducing the woman he intends to marry to his parent.
She politely rejected the drinking water his parent served her bcoz it was dirty (instead went to the car to get a bottled water).
Later during the day, due to the unhygienic condition of the toilet, she politely refused to use the toilet, instead held urine in her bladder.
His parents said the lady was rude & not a marriage material.
Diz is a lady who is neat, ambitious, humble, intelligent, & responsible.
She was disappointed in her fiance bcoz he is very rich but failed to transform the lives of his poor parents.
She cut off the affair on the basis of his irresponsibility & wickedness.
Many men fall under this category.
You buy iPhone 8 for girlfriend but can’t give your parents N50,000.

This Is WICKEDNESS!! Man Beaten To Death By A Gang For Preventing Them From Seeing His Sister (Photo)

A young Nigerian man, Abdulmalik Kabir Yaro has lost his life after he was attacked by a gang in Katsina state for preventing them from seeing his sister. Narrating how the shocking incident happened, a friend on Facebook, Maiwada Dammallam called for justice for Yaro.
Dammallam wrote:  This is Abdulmalik Kabir Yaro, a wonderful son of my friend from childhood. Abdulmalik lost his younger brother to leukemia about 4 weeks ago.
This morning he’s dead, killed (read, executed) by a local gang. Abdulmalik’s offense which earned him death sentence in the court of this gang was his effort to stop the wayward gang from seeing his young sister who’s barely the age of courtship.
The gang somehow cornered Abdulmalik and beat him up to pulp yesterday. He was rushed to the hospital in coma and gave up the ghost today around 11 am. This is not in Katsina, Kano, Lagos or Port Harcourt, this happened in the heart of Malumfashi, my sweet serene hometown. I’m devastated!

That the victim was my son while my hometown was the theatre of this ungodly violence, made it even more disturbing. That it’s another crime induced by passion and possibly drugs when Nigeria is debating yesterday’s callous murder of a young man by his wife in a case of domestic violence made it even more tragic and cause for concern.
Where are we heading? Why is murder becoming a cheap option for conflict resolution? What’s missing in the system that people don’t seem afraid to commit grievous offenses that hitherto, we watched only in western movies?
We are slowly inching towards a lawless society for lack of willingness to implement our punitive laws scripted to curtail and control criminality. Most laws in Nigeria are mere decoration; made ineffective by our cumbersome judicial system.
I’m sure the murderous of Abdulmalik would have had a second thought before his murder had they watched a convicted murderer hanged to death for his offense.
Sadly, all they have to stimulate their respect for the law were countless stories of murderers getting away with murders due to a mixture of clumsiness and cunningness of our judicial system.
It’s sad that a cry for justice in Nigeria is a cry that only the victim could hear. Our courts are more like a sanctuary for criminals than for their victims.
With money, one could get away with almost any crime imaginable under the sun. Good cases were lost to judicial technicalities that have no relevance to the facts of the case. Only in Nigeria would a criminal like Evans who made billions in ransom from his kidnapped victims (some of whom were killed by him anyway) would battle the court to enforce his “human right”. It should make sense that people are resorting to improvised laws to deal with criminality.
Thanks to the inefficacy of our justice system, individual communities have designed laws that are already being implemented in full to dispense speedy justice.
Thieves of all grades and categories are roasted by the roadside to circumvent the cumbersomeness of our justice system in most states in the Southern part of the country.
It’s only a matter of time before other parts of the country borrow and tailor the system to suit their needs. The only antidote for such likely crisis is a holistic review of the justice system to make more compliant and user friendly.

My heartfelt condolence to the parents of Abdulmalik for tragic lost of a promising son when in yet to overcome the pain of an earlier. Allah ya jikanshi da rahama.

Chef arrested for drugging ex-minister, robbing him of N10million

Ex-minister of finance, Kalu Idika, was drugged and robbed by his chef
The Chef invited a gang of thieves to rob him after drugging him
- They went away with N750,000 cash and valuables worth N10million
Former minister of finance, Dr Kalu Idika, was drugged by her chef, one Peter Odion, who invited a group of thieves to rob him of money and valuables.
The thieves got away with N750,000 cash and valuables worth N10million naira from the ex-minister house located at 180A, Moshood Olugbani Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Punch reports that Odion allegedly put a sedative in a cup of coffee he served his boss on Wednesday, November 15 and immediately after Idika slept off, Odion was said to have led his gang members into the boss’ apartment, where they made away with a sum of N750,000, a Blackberry, a Samsung phone and other valuables estimated at about N10m.
Odion was paraded on Monday at the police command office in Ikeja along with four others identified as Samuel Ogana, Joy Omagu, Uboh Obi and Sunday Emmanuel.
The state acting commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi, said operatives of the State Intelligence Bureau, tracked down the suspects.

The acting CP said the gang members had wanted to use a similar method to rob one Mrs. Augustina Akhibi, when they met their Waterloo.
He said: “The syndicate is made up of six members who specialise in getting jobs as cooks or home helps and while in service, gain the trust of their principals and inject their food with sedatives to make them sleep off. They thereafter cart away their principals’ belongings.
“The first victim, Dr Kalu Idika, was robbed of items worth N10,943,000 on September 20, 2017, while the second potential victim, Mrs. Akhibi, was used by the police as a bait to bust the syndicate.”
He added that drug substances like Diazepam Injection, ground nitrogen (morgodon) table, and a syringe filled with some substances, were recovered from the gang.”
Odion confessed to the crime, claiming he was desperate to get a sum of N60,000 his boss allegedly owed him.
He said: “I started working with the man some months ago. The man owed me N60,000 and he refused to pay. I told my friend, Samuel (Ogana), and he gave me the drug to put in his tea. They came in when he was asleep and robbed him. I played along with them. Other workers in the house did not know I was involved. I got N100,000 from the proceeds.”
Omagu, who was 22, said Emmanuel acted as an agent and contracted her as a housemaid to Akhibi.
She said: “He gave me some sedatives to make the woman sleep, but I had not used them when the police arrested me.
But 38-year-old Emmanuel denied that he gave the sedatives to Omagu, noting that he had got a housemaid for the woman in the past.
He said: “I only told her (Omagu) that the woman was wicked and that she could do whatever she liked to her. I don’t know anything about the sedatives."
The different gangs paraded by the police reportedly operate in the Abuja-Kaduna, Abuja-Minna-Bida, Birnin Gwari-Funtua and Abuja-Lokoja highways.
They were arrested as a result of the Operation Absolute Sanity, which was recently strengthened with additional police personnel and needed logistics by the Inspector-General of Police Ibrahim K. Idris.

Is This The Best Collaboration They Can Offer?

The newest released song by Tekno Ft, Wizkid, Mama isn’t a bad song at all, especially when you consider it has all the qualities of a good song. From the intro to the outro, from the beat to the delivery of each verses and the composition of the lyrical contents.
Truly, it is a hit to listen to. But the bone of contention here is that; is this the Best both collaboration both Tekno and Wizkid can do ? You can Download “Mama by Tekno Ft. Wizkid” Here
Image result for tekno and wizkidTekno and Wizkid linked together in what is supposed to be one of Nigeria’s strongest collaborations, and the result isn’t their strongest foot forward.
This new song titled ‘Mama’ isn’t the collaboration that we know they are capable of. It just makes me want to call them both and ask them why they misrepresented themselves on what could have been one of the songs to end the year on a high.
How did this happen? Who signed off on such a record? Why did they pick that song as their working material? Don’t they fear God at all? These are questions to be answered.
When Wizkid and Tekno had a fight earlier in the year as an extension of the great and never-ending Starboy-OBO rivalry, they dominated the Nigerian conversations.
Wizkid’s pet name for ‘Tekno’ (duck-face) is one of Nigeria’s pop culture gems, and it became a national issue because of the strength of their artistry and celebrity.
To see them move quickly through the reconciliation process and straight to collaboration is a positive. But this record isn’t their best work.
Tekno is currently one of the most revered acts in African pop music. Since 2015, the singer has properly come into his own, shattering mainstream consciousness with a string of hits. His good run has seen him zoom to the zenith of African pop music, with each new song almost guaranteed to be a hit record.
He has become Africa’s go-to guy for bangers, showing a one-dimensional ability to destroy dance floors from Lagos to Kampala. He’s also a good producer, who have crafted huge records for his peers.
Wizkid, on the other hand, is a certified music monster who can turn anything into artistic gold. A career full of sonic gems has created one of Africa’s most celebrated pop musician with various awards to his name and record breaking entertainer.
Wizkid is so great that his artistry and impact has been repeatedly compared to Fela Kuti, the creator of Afrobeat. What has stood Wizkid out is his big pop records and collaborations which attracted major label Sony Music. His latest album “Sounds From The Other Side” was a product of RCA Records. That’s how big he is.
Bringing these two (Wizkid & Tekno) bastions of pop music together on a record would create certain expectations. On paper, a unification of Wizkid and Tekno’s powers would create a super product with the power to become an instant classic, rule the industry, and dominate the continent.
But this record isn’t that pop cut that ought to have come out. Wizzy and Tekno flipped the script on us. They took the music to a sober dimension. Over mellow, throbbing Highlife arrangements, they begin to introspect.
These make conscious music, reflecting on their rags-to-riches story, and tying it back to the belief of their mothers. How disappointing.
Tekno sets up the sombre mood with the opening line: “I no get money when I come Lagos, Na my dream and my hustle and I thank Jesus.”
Wizkid latches on to this, following up with his own come-up story: “Nobody send when I sabi Banky W, but right now na starboy starboy. Now girls move tingaligaling, God bless me I bless mama pocket.”
It’s the sober gratitude Olympics here, from two artists who have the ability to make Africa go “mad” on the dance floor. This record will have its lovers.
It ticks all the right boxes for the crowd that fell in love with ‘Ojuelegba’. The same crowd that demands for music to be used as a tool for inspiration. They will fall over themselves with excitement.
Of recent Wizkid and Mavin’s queen together sang “Malo” and we all know that that’s a hit banger. Like-wise Tekno and others he has worked with but not “Mama”.
‘Mama’ isn’t a bad song like I mentioned earlier. There’s enough quality in the music to consider it a good song. Some section of fans and commenters will call me a hater for not feeling this. But close your eyes for a moment and think of all the hits that have come from these stars.
Imagine throwing these hits together and creating one solid record that would make enjoyment kill you this Christmas season.
Think of your speakers blowing that mega jam from Wizkid and Tekno. Imagine the potential madness that could have been. Then slowly open your eyes and listen to this reality that they have made.
